The Hanney's 2020 scarecrow trail

make this the biggest, best trail we’ve ever had! Get creative and make a scarecrow (or two) – and a very simple theme – KEY WORKERS – there is a very long list of those who worked tirelessly to keep the rest of us safe, feed, receiving much needed supplies through the post and courier delivery – and some Hanney folk who went above and beyond to support our community.

the trail

Meander your way around the lanes and wander through the Hanneys to hunt out all the scarecrows. We’ll soon tell you how you can vote for your favourite or better still… create your own scarecrow COVID key worker.

We’ll try and give you some clues with a map to help you a little.

A reminder of the rules can be found here (SCARECROW COMPETITION)

We’ll be dropping some purple pins in the map to give you some clues as to where you can find the scarecrows. Have fun on your trail!

Don’t forget to visit us on facebook and tell all your friends about what you’ve seen.

Below you can get some inspiration from some previous years entries.

Thanks to P Smiles and J Stagg for the pictures.
