GRANTS 2017
- Hanney Brownies – long-sleeved protective overalls for use during cookeryand craft activities
- Hanney Guides – High Viz vests for use when on outdoor activities
- Hanney PreSchool – contribution towards the purchase of security-set tablets loaded with applications for learning enhancement for young children
- St James Primary School – display table & storage unit for the Foundation stage classroom in the new build
- Hanney Community Shop – non-slip floor safety mats for both the public area and behind the shop counter
- The Bell Tower – contribution towards replacement bell ropes
- Hanney Tennis Club – customised ceramic mugs for use as prizes in adult and children’s tournaments
- St James Church – purchase of an electronic keyboard for use during children’s activities and further contribution towards the ‘Loo Fund’
- Hanney History Group – contribution towards establishing and hosting a Hanney history website
- The Nigel Eady Community Woodland – the purchase and installation of bench in response the plea in the recent Community Survey “there is no where comfortable to sit for a little while”
We additionally make a donation to SERV – the Oxs, Bucks & Northants emergency bike charity in recognition of Richard bringing ‘the blood bike’ to the Fayre every year – very popular with the children and a charity that we might all be eternally grateful for one day.
